Hill Country Soaps are homemade in the Texas Hill Country using quality ingredients. Our soaps contain base oils of either olive, coconut, or avocado along with mango or shea butter and we add vitamin E as a natural preservative. In addition some of our soaps include extra moisturizing oils such as cocoa butter, hemp seed oil, sweet almond oil, apricot oil or jojoba oil. Here at Hill Country Soap we do not use animal fat in any of our handmade soaps. And Hill Country Soaps are never tested on animals, only on our very, very willing family and friends.

Hill Country Soaps also carries an array of body care products, gift baskets, favors, sampler packs and children's bath items. Most of our products are fragranced with essential oils that are said to have many aromatherapy and healing properties. Other products get thier scent directly from the herbs that we use or are lightly scented with fragrance oils when a particular scent is wanted and not available in the essential oil blend. We then color the product using only approved soap colorants. Most commercial soaps are full of very harsh ingredients that will dry your skin, our products are extremely gentle and mild on your skin. Your skin will be so clean and soft after using our products that you won't even need lotion! Our soap and body care products make wonderful gifts for any special occasion.

Here at Hill Country Soap Co. each bar of handmade soap is hand cut and trimmed when need be and hand packaged by our caring staff just for our customers.

Although allergic reactions to natural ingredients are somewhat rare, we do recommend testing our products on a small patch of skin 24 hrs prior to full use. If redness or irritation should occur discontinue use of the item.
